Otis proposed on a green bench (the bench on the Save the Date!) in a park in Mexico City in December 2022, and Zoe said yes.
We first met at Colorado College in 2017 in the back kitchen of the campus chapel, where Otis was brewing his first clandestine batch of dorm-room beer.
We made it through 4 years of long-distance while Zoe pursued her seismology Ph.D. in Seattle and Otis completed his service as an infantry officer in southern Georgia, upstate New York, and Afghanistan.
We now both call Seattle home and are so excited to share the place we love with you!
