A FEW TIPS FOR PLANNING YOUR STAY

Where should I look for accommodation?

All events will take place in North Seattle. To be closest to the wedding venue, the best neighborhoods are the UDistrict, Laurelhurst, Bryant, and Ravenna. We have reserved a block of a limited amount of hotel rooms at a great hotel in the UDistrict (see below).

Other great neighborhoods in northern Seattle that are quiet and not too far away include Green Lake, Roosevelt, and Wallingford.

Ballard is a bit further but a very fun place to stay with lots of restaurants, bars, and proximity to more waterfront parks.

HOTEL BLOCK

We have reserved a block of hotel rooms with a discounted rate at The Graduate Hotel (4507 Brooklyn Ave NE) in the UDistrict for Friday, August 23 - Sunday, August 25. The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to a light rail station and the University of Washington campus, and wedding events can be easily reached via public transportation, Uber, or rental car.

To make a reservation within our hotel block at the discounted rate, click on this link and enter the following code into the “Group Code” option: 7151078

Please make reservations by May 24, 2024 in order to receive the discounted rate.

How does one get around?

Seattle has a light rail that runs from the airport directly to north Seattle, with stops downtown near Pike Place Market, in the International District , Capitol Hill, and more. With this, plus abundant ride-share bikes and scooters, it’s quite possible to get around without a car. Looking for accommodation near one of the light rail stations will make it easier to explore the city!

If you’re interested in doing a day hike in the Cascades but don’t want to rent a car, there is a shuttle bus that has weekend drop-offs at popular trailheads.
